SVGSVGElement: createSVGRect() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The createSVGRect() method of the SVGSVGElement interface creates an DOMRect object outside of any document trees.

None.
Return value
A DOMRect object, initialized with x, y, width, and height all set to 0.
